How does it help parents save time?

If you spend ages looking up answers at the back of the book, or homework ends up unchecked, start with a photo of the completed work. The app gives question-by-question feedback and guidance on what needs attention. Follow-up practice can come directly from the mistakes, so you spend less time searching for another worksheet. The time saved depends on the work and the help your child needs.

Will it explain where answers lose marks?

Feedback sits alongside each answer and explains what is correct, partly correct or needs improvement. Where marks are available, the result shows marks awarded out of the available total. Use the guidance and any correction to talk through what went wrong or what was missing, then practise that area again.

AI feedback is learning guidance, not a guarantee of the mark a teacher or examiner would award.

What happens after homework is checked?

Review each answer and its feedback, then choose “Practise my mistakes” when there are suitable mistakes to work on, or “Generate more like this” for further practice. Try the new questions and review the answers, explanations or marking criteria. It’s a loop of trying, understanding and practising.

Does it give answers before my child has tried?

Normal homework checking starts with the learner’s own work. Unanswered questions stay unmarked by default. You can explicitly turn on “Mark unanswered questions” before a check to request separately labelled answer help for readable blank questions; those questions still do not count as attempted work.

Practice includes hints and solutions, and library worksheets have marking guides. Encourage your child to try first, then use the help to understand the next step.

Can I use it with more than one child?

Yes. Add child profiles under one account, then switch between them to see each child’s homework, practice and results. A saved age range helps set the level for generated practice. You can revisit saved work and earlier feedback together.

What’s in the public worksheet library?

Open “Browse library” in the app for a ready-made collection of worksheets and marking guides. The growing collection currently focuses on England’s primary school years, from Reception to Year 6, across subjects including maths, English and science. Browse by year and subject, preview a worksheet and its marking guide, then start an attempt or print it.

It is a starting collection, with more topics still to add; it does not yet cover the full curriculum. Secondary worksheets are not currently available in the library.

Can I create practice for a particular topic?

Yes. Describe what you want to practise and select or confirm a broad age range. The app generates questions with teaching content and explanations. You can also create practice from checked homework, focused on mistakes or similar questions.

Can my child work on paper, iPhone or iPad?

Yes. Photograph completed paper homework, use Camera, Photos or Files to bring in images and PDFs, or import a worksheet to write on with Apple Pencil on iPad. Practice can be answered one question at a time on iPhone, used as an editable iPad worksheet, or exported as a printable PDF.

Can it check handwritten homework?

Yes. Checking supports photographed handwriting and Apple Pencil work. Keep the full question and answer in view, use good lighting, and make sure the image is sharp. If a result says the work is unclear, retake or reimport it and check that the app has read the answer correctly.

Can I rely on every mark?

AI can misread handwriting or misunderstand an answer. Treat feedback as learning support, and check anything surprising against the original question or with a teacher or trusted adult. Open-ended practice answers may need review against examples and marking criteria instead of a simple right-or-wrong score.

Is it available now, and is there a web version?

Yes. Check My Homework is available for iPhone and iPad on the App Store. Availability depends on your country or region and device compatibility. Homework, practice and private results are used in the app; this website provides product information and support.

Do I need an account or a subscription?

The app offers one free homework check before sign-in. An account is required for generated practice and account features. Paid plans include a monthly allowance for AI checking and generation, rather than unlimited use. See the app for current plan details, prices and usage.

What happens to homework sent for AI checking?

The app asks for permission before sending selected homework or practice instructions for third-party AI processing. See the Privacy Policy for the provider, data and purposes, and the child-safety guidance for family use.
